Yes, with any grinds, you still need to brush their teeth, the little pieces of bone in the grinds are just not big enough to do that cleaning effect you'll get from them eater larger bone-in pieces.

They can eat all of it And Linda is right- you will still have to brush. What cleans their teeth is biting THROUGH bone.the bone acts as a scraper on the teeth.

Thanks ladies the reason I WAS going to get the grinds was because I can't find a meat supplier around me or a website without outrageous shipping prices. I know I can go to my local store to get some meat like chicken wings, quail, Turkey wings, but what else can they munch through?

Excellent bone-in options include the following: Chicken: Wings, Necks, Spines, Thigh (only some will eat this one, and usually just if smashed up with a hammer), Feet (can be added with muscle meat to create a pseudo/faux bone-in option if limited temporarily) Duck: Wingtips, Necks, Ribs Turkey: Wingtips, Necks (bash up with a hammer, these are tough), Ribs Pork: Rib-ends/Riblets (these can be too tough for some) Rabbit: Entire thing (weight bearing bones like thigh could be too tough) Quail: Entire thing Cornish Game Hen: Entire thing (limit the inclusion of this in your diet, as it is basically a young chicken, so not fully developed nutritionally) Frog: Froglegs! (Don't think you'd find more of it, lol) Rodents like rats, mice, hamster, gerbil, guinea pig: Entire thing
PS. The easiest options to get started on bone-in for them that I have worked with, would be Quail and Cornish Game Hen, apart from the usual Chicken wings. Some have had success in Froglegs too, but those are a hit and miss in general with ferrets, some are instantly addicted, others are like NOPE!
