Hey you guys, My dog went to the vet this morning to get his grape nuts cut off so we won't have any little Bo's running around. And i asked them to look at the skin balding on his back legs and his acne on his chin. It wasn't bad just a small concern i would like looked at. well...They listed a bunch of meds for him to take at a total of like 380 bucks. -.- Sorry..I love my dog but not at that cost. I told them I can't afford the meds at this time. I don't know what kind of infection it is and they said I would have to call the doctor to get the name of it as he didn't write it down. But i wanted to know from you guys, whats a good remedy to up his amuse system. I am being attacked by fleas so I think it's a flea problem more than anything. I'm just a litte for two chin pimples and some thin fur. I heard that Bach flower is good for fur, and aloe stuff. Any recommendations? TTYL, Cara

Get rid of the fleas (House/yard/pet) Omega 3 fatty acids (fish oil like salmon)are great for skin, even better if you get corn and wheat out of his diet if applicable.......... if it is an infection he needs antibiotics. $380 is a lot of money for that! Maybe it was Pred as well....... Wow! Ouch

Pred is cheap....find out what the diseases are you're dealing with, then maybe we can help you out. That's a lot of money for some thinning fur but it it's mange or something like that (they don't call it that by the way) the drugs for that is expensive. I'm going to vote for getting rid of the fleas first. You have to, they do horrible things to your ferrets ciao

The meds he has listed were clavamox & Promeris. The pro is a flea stuff. And the clavamox was a antibiotic.
