Hello there, welcome to the club, haha. I went between several Jo-Anns and Hobby Lobby stores and bought myself bucketfuls of fabric, fleece, flannel, and cotton. As well as velcro and lots of colored thread. This was supposed to be for the ferrets, making them custom bedding for their FN cage and the like... suffice to say with 4 ferrets who all wish to help their mommy.. it's been a bit harder to get everything done than I was thinking. I used fleece as my top side for all their cage pan covers, and flannel on the bottom part since they enjoy the softer fabrics more, but the fleece, especially the fancier ones I got, work out rather expensive for the amount of covers I made. My fuzzbutts are very, very spoiled little buggers with expensive tastes.. only the fluffiest, soft baby blankets will suffice to work in the sleeping nests according to my alpha, Athena. PS. Your hubby wouldn't be the first hubby to try and reign their wife in when it comes to ferrets...

It's only right to do so, imo. I work hard to give my hoard the better lives that they deserve.
Also Frozen is never a bad choice. <3
