Im concerned about my little ones because they've been on soup for over a month. I didn't know that the switch was supposed to be faster and I know after three months is when nutrition deficiencies can occur. So please help me with the next step. They are currently eating the chicken soup recipe and ive been putting in chunks in after it's made. They eat the chunks but not all of them. I started small and now they are the size of your ring fingernail.
How do I introduce different proteins and bone?!! they love the soup... lol I applied for the mentoring program and waited over a month and was next in line but deleted my submission bexause ive been going back and forth between kibble and raw. it's all really stressful for me and a lot of times I post questions and no one answers them or they don't answer all my questions. I know there so many posts and everyone is doing the absolute best they can though.

Ok, you're using our soupy? How thick is it? The only protein you've tried is chicken? To get other another protein just replace the protein with the next one you want to try. As far as bone, I usually start with using chicken ribs or rabbit ribs and just smashing it up with an ulu or a cleaver and put it into the soupy. Also start thickening up the soupy, making more and more like a very thick chowder. Have you got your application in at the mentoring program again? ciao

Yes the chicken soup recipe from here except using beef heart instead of chicken. The soup is thick like a chowder with lots of extra meat in it. They do eat the chunks they just love the soup with it but I'm giving them less soup then I used to so. 2 cubes instead of three with lots of chunks. I'll just start putting 1 cube with chunks. and so if I wanted to introduce turkey do I make a turkey soup recipe? like turkey thighs, beef heart, and chicken liver then put chunks of chicken? Same thing for rabbit or duck? I haven't because it'll be well over a month before I get assigned a mentor and I want them to be fully transitioned before then. I can do this I just get really discouraged sometimes

You may be able to just add whatever sized chunks of different proteins rather than going back. Just add it to your present mixture. If you want to add rabbit chunks just do it in place of the chicken. Same with the other proteins. As far as bone in meats just smash them up and add them. At first they wont be eating the bone in meats the way they should but as they learn how to chew you will start to move forward. Don't add a lot of bone in meats to begin with. I always like to mix it up. Keep an eye to see if you've got one that's not eating it but if you smash the bones up with the meat and then cut the chunks with meat sheers it's easy ciao
