I have an incredibly energetic girl who seems to be awake all the time. She sleeps after play time (and they get lots of play time) but at night I hear her knocking around and playing in her feeding den. My local pet store has hardly anything other than stuffed animals that are suitable for ferrets and I don't keep stuffies in cage because they will chew them. They do have dehydrated chicken feet (no preservatives) and my girl goes crazy for them. She will use that energy chewing it up and has a good time doing it. Are other dehydrated animal bits ok? Dehydrated pigs ears? Bully sticks?
They love regular raw chicken feet too, but the dehydrated seem to take lots of extra effort and she seems to enjoy doing it.

If they are from the pet store, I'd be careful about the pig ears. Those can be made with a lot of "extras". If they are just plain dehydrated, and no chemical additives, I don't see an issue.

If it is a pet "boutique" instead of general pet store, they will be able to tell you.

If it is a pet "boutique" instead of general pet store, they will be able to tell uyou. It reminds me of a pet smart type place, but it isn't pet smart. They don't sell animals just pet supplies.I'm a little leery of their knowledge of all products. The chicken feet had packaging that said it was just chicken feet but the pigs ears were just loose in a box together. The next town over there is a little boutique so I might check that out instead.

I buy from a local holistic pet supply store, they tend to also have their dehydrated pieces and chews in open decorated containers and the like, but they are very on top of any info requested about it. The big commercial places like PetSmart and Petco... not that informed, and neither do the products tend to be quality.

That is the main difference. The staff are very knowledgeable about their products.
