Not exactly.....It's about balancing out the organ meats. It would depend on how long you're feeding scrap. You've basically got a whole prey diet. There is a schedule on how to balance that out (organs) when you're feeding a whole prey diet with just the occasional frankenprey. Hopefully, someone will pop in with the link otherwise I will see if I can find it and post it ciao

Liver shouldn't just be given all willy-nilly, so it depends on the context honestly. Ferrets must get liver, but it should be only 5%of their total diet, as it is meant to be half of their organ requirement, which is 10% of diet. Liver is very high in Vitamin A, which is a fat-soluble vitamin. These type of vitamins can accumulate in the body if given too frequently, too much of, and lead to a toxicity. Therefore, while they definitely need to eat liver, it needs to be regulated heavily (the Frankenprey diet for example does 1.5 meals of half liver and half other organ, per week). This includes doing this like Liver FDR treats, which honestly are best avoided and should just get replaced with other FDR treats. It's also the reason why it's not a good idea to be giving ferrets Cod Liver Oil, much to high in Vitamin A. Heather , is this what you were looking for?
