I want to feed raw but don't have places nearby to sell me things like heart etc. is Rad cat a good fuzzy diet?

Yes, Rad Cat is considered a balanced raw commercial grind the last time I checked. Refer to this: holisticferretforum.com/natural-diet/raw-and-whole-prey-providers/Just keep in mind, it's exactly that, a grind, so you'll still need to brush your fuzzy's teeth regularly as they won't be getting the benefit of bone-in meals cleaning their teeth for them.

Thanks Linda- we need to change that. I'd forgotten it was there. Rad Cat uses ONLY eggshell powder, not actual ground bone as we originally thought. So as a portion of a diet it would be fine. But not as a sole diet.

Ooh, you're totally right Sherry. Looking through the ingredient list for each product, yeah, they're using egg shell, so it won't be considered fully balanced since it's lacking the micro-nutrients from actual bone. I wonder why they did that... other than their quote about digestive upset, that's pretty disappointing.
