Doesn't seem to be fully balanced. I count 2 grinds, 1 heart, 1 organ, 4 muscle, and 6 bone-in, so too much muscle and too few hearts, organs and bone-in. If you do 2 grinds (complete meals), you need 1.5 heart, 1.5 organ, 1 muscle and 8 bone-in meals with it. Please refer to that link I sent you on Balancing Frankenprey with Alternative Meals. I'll relink here for convenience: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/17989/balancing-frankenprey-diets-prey-grindsYou can give 1 raw egg per ferret, per week (double during the shedding season). Either give the white and yolk whisked together, or just the yolks, but NEVER only the white. I count my eggs under treats and not really a meal, as mine will eat it and still eat all their food that day anyway.

Im going to redo it now and when Im done ill post it here :-) I thought you could give all your organs/hearts on one day though? maybe I read wrong ^^^^^ just looked at the website again and I understand now. heart meal, organ meal, and THEN 50% heart 50% organ

Yep, that's the easiest way to look at it. A single meal of hearts only, a single meal of organs only, and then you can do a single meal of half hearts and half organs. Ferrets overall get more bone-in meals than muscle, while muscle seems easiest for us to work with and think of doing when making their meals, they really only get a small amount of muscle only meals, so it's an easy mistake to make. Also, organ meals will give them some nasty poops (think dark colored tar soup basically), so you might want to do a bone-in meal after an organ meal, just to firm up their poops again.

Im looking at the chart and I think that the 3 whole prey, 11 frankenprey meal one is wrong. Its missing 1 meal. Should I just add a muscle meal?

Huh, you're completely right, I'll send Celene a note about it and see if it can be corrected. Could be that it's still supposed to be 1.5 heart and organs, or an extra bone meal when doing the line of 3 alternative meals.

It may take a few days to get it fixed on the chart, so try and see if you can do either just 2 or 4 grind meals for now, until it's been corrected.
