I should say, "and mama's tools..." since I got some beautiful, lime colored, light-weight power tools today for DIY projects and potentially power sawing through bones since I'm out my bone-cutting knife.
Of course, the first thing to happen was ferrets crawling over the boxes and into the bag that had the boxes for the Multi-Tool, and Hand Vacuum. As soon as my husband pulled out the bag that had the tools in, ferrets.. ferrets ALL OVER it. Athena picked the Circle Saw and tried digging it out and Loki decided to help dig out the Reciprocating Saw. I was able to snap a photo right before grabbing the baggie with the manual and blades so they could not get hurt on them.
And of course, Loki's all time obsession item... daddy's tape measure. No matter where he is or what he is doing, you snap that tape measure, and you'll have a ferret by your feet in seconds. He actually got pretty rage-y when his daddy wouldn't let him grab the tape (we don't let him when the tape is out as it could cut his hand or mouth), and hubby ended up with some claw marks, a bite, and a seriously war dancing ferret.
My ferrets definitely believe that they are handy-ferrets and should be able to help with measurements, tools, cutting, gluing, etc. The little crazy bugs. Every job takes two of us, one to do the work and the other to hold the ferrets, or a coin flip over who gets to be the monster who will get punished by the ferrets for them getting put back in their cage for safety sake.
Athena isn't quite sure why daddy would close up such a lovely bag of dangerous treasures...
Here's Loki going after his obsession tape...
And since he wasn't allowed to take the tape... and "thus surely nobody loves him"... he decides to go sulk on the huge pile of clothing out of storage that I am sorting through in the bedroom.
