I recently moved to new house, and thus had to find a new market to go to for my babies' meat and organs that is closer to the new place. I went shopping there today and was elated to find pork brain! I never saw it at the market I used to go to. I was just about to buy some, until I realized it was $7 a pound. * At the moment all they're eating is chicken, pork and beef liver, kidney, heart and muscle as well bone in meats, because that's all I've been able to find. I was wondering how beneficial it would be to include brain into their diet. If it will make a big difference, I don't mind spending the money at all. I just want to make sure it's worth it before spending $7 a pound on it. Thank you!

It makes for a really great "other organ" in place of kidney. Brain is high in almost everything they need, including taurine. So yes, buy some, cut it up and portion and use in place of kidney from time to time
