I actually outsmarted my ferrets! It doesn't happen often, so I feel the need to gloat...just a little bit. First, some background: I have 9 wonderful little critters, all kibble fed their entire lives. I'm preparing to switch them to raw, so in the meantime I've been acquainting them with the smell and texture of raw meat. Of course, no takers, except one of my 8 month old kits, and even he's not exactly sure what to do with it once he steals it from the plate and stashes it somewhere. One of my older boys, he's about 5-ish, was just diagnosing with insulinoma and the rescue I work with recommended supplementing him with duck soup (and it hides his meds nicely). Most of my fuzzies won't touch duck soup or baby food or even carnivore care, which we learned the hard way when one of my girls got a tummy bug this summer and wouldn't eat anything. So I've been introducing them to duck soup so we'll have options if/when we have another tummy bug.
So here's how I outsmarted them. I've been mixing raw ground turkey into the soup and they're still eating it! I've been increasing the ratio of raw to soup over the last couple of days and they all (well, the 6 that'll eat the soup) are chowing down! Yay! Of course, now I've probably jinxed it and they'll all stop eating it

Good job, you're doing great! Keep it up and let's see how they fare once you completely remove the soup from the equation. Hopefully the 6 that have been munching down will then happily eat ground raw without any hassles. Now you just need to figure out the other 3.
