Hello there. I was wondering if I could get any opinions on how my Rosie's poop looks. She's on a mixture of Stella and chewys FDR salmon and cod, duck goose, and turkey. I do not give her anything extra. I'm hoping the little pieces are crushed bone from the fdr. She has been eating/drinking normally and playing as usual.

First stool pic looks very loose. Are they new to this type of food? It could simply be due to stress and should pass. The second one looks alright to some degree from what I can tell. Did you dissect the stool by chance to get a better look at what is in it? I kind of see something like... peas? But not sure. It could be bone like you mention. Do you know 100% for sure what the ferret ate prior to the stool? Or are you mixing multiple protein FDRs?

But Ok now I'm extremely worried. She didn't eat for almost an entire day and I came home to see her poop like this It's almost like a jello that has hardened. Thoughts Edit :: I just fed her and she seems to be eating normally. Not lethargic really anything out of the ordinary It's all Stella and chewys and there's nothing for her to get into!

Do you feed raw egg? And is she shedding? Hair filled stool looks very slug like. And that last one really reminds me of it.

No I literally stick to Stella and chewys on schedule daily. 8 hours later here I am and I looked and she had a nice size poop after eating this morning Must have been a fluke. I feel bad because I'm in a one bedroom place and I feel like she doesn't have enough room. Gonna try the harness thing later but I do not wanna stress her out. Also, no shedding or loss of hair

How much water did you put in to re-hydrate it? I'm thinking maybe extra water = loose stool. It could also be due to stress.
I think Stella & CHewy recently changed ingredients, but I'm not 100% sure let alone sure if it relates to this. If you notice her stools firming up after a while, then it could possibly be stress.

Both of my ferrets get some rehydrated Stella & Chewys, but they haven't had any weird poops on them. May just have been a once off thing, I'd still keep an eye to be sure all is well in the next few days though.
