Last week I picked up a ferret from petsupermarket. Yes, a marshalls ferret. But I wanted to announce mako is fully converted over to raw and whole prey. He took only 1 day. I tossed out the marshalls pellets. Just want to thank everyone here for their helpful post on feeding. I gained alot of knowledge, and mako is now on a better road to life.

That's awesome to hear! Kits usually will switch easily, glad that was the case for you as well! Did you find the thread with the suggested balanced menu?

That's excellent news! So glad you had a rapid and easy transition with your wee little one. It's so much easier switching babies and it's a great start to healthy lives for them.

Yes, I went out out and picked up so many differant types of meat, and I have a feeding schedule on my fridge until I get the hang of it. This morning mako is eating lamb.

I was definitely worried he wouldn't like it lol at first he'd completly eat the meat, and leave the bone. Yesterday he ate the whole turkey neck. So im sure he's getting enough calcium. He loves mice too.
