How much Fish can you feed? Could it be a main food? Betsy Seems to really like Freeze dried salmon treats and if she could I would gladly get her more and such... AND would fish bones count as editable bones?

Fish should be kept to one meal a week, and they should be mainly smaller fresh water varieties due to toxin build up in the larger ones. That said, one of mine considered wild cohoe salmon to be something inhaled rather than eaten She got it once in a while. Also had another who would eat smelts until she vomited if given the chance. And yes fish is considered a bone in meal

I wouldn't. Stick to the one meal or don't feed the meal of fish one week and treat with fish. Ferrets/polecats do occasionally eat fish that they would find trapped or rotting on the side of a stream. A ferret/polecat doesn't really hunt fish except by opportunity. This is unlike the mink and otter who hunt fish by design and require it in their diet. ciao
