So one of my new ferrets (male 6 mos old) is chewing on tags(which I've removed) and I noticed a hole in a snuggle sack this morning. Is this a hob thing or an age thing or will he just be a chewer? Is there any way to discourage him chewing on things in the cage? They do get ample free roam time in the room their cage is in, its a 12x12 ft room for them. Is there anything safe I can put in there that he can chew? I have looked at the toy warnings and enrichment ideas and know no rubber etc if it looks non sturdy. I'm just not sure if its like a puppy stage where he will grow out of it or if it can be trained out? I am checking their hammocks and stuff daily, they have to have comfy stuff to lay on but I don't want him ending up with blockages -.- His old owner said he didn't have time to spend with him so I'm assuming he's been stuck in a cage a lot of the time with no toys etc
