I'm sure they're both fine. Your boy's poo might go off a little, too, because of the stress of the new guy. Kibble poos are normally pretty consistent. Raw poops vary a lot, depending on what their eating. Congrats on your new buddy! Two's always better than one!

Thank you, it eases of a lot of the worry I always have. So glad you helped! My boys and I both appreciate it so much.

Anytime! There are a lot of great people on here. Check out the mentor link and look for the intro to raw. It'll give you a good idea of what you need before you begin a transition to raw.

I see that, I would have been ripping my hair out, suffocating with vet bills if it wasn't for ferret people. Truly helpfulπ I'm planning on it, first I need to find a place where I'll be able to buy the supply for the boys!

Not fed a baby in 2 days....OMG...please tell me I misread this. What was that person thinking about. The damage that could have happened to an adult ferret, the damage done to a kit who requires huge amounts of food daily is not short of neglect. I'm going to hope I just misread this Quarantining your new little one would have been the smartest move as sometimes pet store kits carry viruses they've picked up in their travels. Often they've become immune to these diseases but ferrets who've been living a more sheltered life will catch them and become ill. If they've already been playing together then chances are it's too late and you will just have to wait and see. I agree those stools were probably a combination of stress, new food and not being fed.... :pullhair: Poor baby. Hopefully, everything will come together for your little one and he's finally found his wonderful forever home ciao

I hope so too! My heart would break if any of my boys got ill. I'm going to pray my babies are ok, they're just so full of life for anything to happen:( and yeah! They were first time ferret owners that didn't bother reading about them before you know
