Our deaf girl Lamb LOVES to chew on anything with some give (shoes, cotton blankets, etc). We already had to take away the starch packing peanuts in the dig box because she would just squirrel them away and chew them. I was confused about why what seemed like pieces of packing peanut were being passed still in her stools. Then today I found her chewing off small pieces of fuzz off their blanket (never messes with the polar fleece ones, luckily, just this two sided one) and put two and two together. She's also been caught chewing shoes and sandals, as well as a packaging sleeve - one of the ones with bubble wrapping on the inside. That was a favorite toy of Wolf's as well but I had to get rid of it after I found her nibbling a piece of the plastic. She is still passing bits of the blanket, as I just found out she was eating it today and removed it immediately, and I am monitoring CLOSELY to make sure she passes all of it.
Are there any toys that are safe for her to have that will also satisfy her urge to chew? Even edible ones? I know you shouldn't give them Nylabones but something in that line of thinking. They get about 6 hours of semi-supervised play every day while we are upstairs working on things or playing video games (usually in the evening/night). We are making the transition to raw, I'm hoping the edible bone will help, whenever we get there. Right now I'm working on getting them switched from the dry food onto the soup.

None of mine are chewers so not a ton of experience in the area, but as you said you're switching to raw the raw bones will be perfectly safe for her to gnaw on. If you're looking more for a toy to play with you want to stay away from plastic but one of those thick braided rope dog toys would be fine until it starts to thread. Also any stuffies that don't have bead eyes or noses and aren't filled with those bean things are also a good choice. Hope you find something that works!

Raw bones is a great idea! I would worry about the rope or stuffies since she has a penchant for fabric. I'll pick up some bone-in chicken tomorrow.
