For my three ferrets for 30 lbs of food and the selection I've chosen from haretoday and keystone naturals it's a little over 200 dollars. Last month with just keystone naturals it was 163 dollars.
That should last them over a month as I am still feeding them the last 30 lbs of food I bought a month ago. I do frequently buy them chicken wings from the store as it is their favorite though.

For everything, it'll be about $100 for 3 months. Is this expensive? On average is that what do you spend on one ferret for a month? My ferrets appetites vary. I don't think I could ever narrow down a cost per month per ferret and say it is truely accurate. I have 7 and sometimes the seem to go through an order quickly and sometimes an order lasts months. I can tell you by looking at my costs for about 4 months averages about $328, This is with 4 ferrets on whole prey (rodent pro) and 3 on Frankenprey. This includes buying marked down Chicken, Beef, and pork at the grocery store At 50% off. Rodent pro is Whole Chicken, Rabbit, Quail, and Guinea Pigs. I also still have a freezer full of ASF rats from when I raised them. I think I do pretty well for 7 ferrets

Hi is piper a jill or a hob ? with a whole skinned rabbit you would take off 2 back legs and feed one per meal ( cut in half if for a jill ) the back you slice down the middle this provides 6 good portions of meat the rib cage and front legs are also cut in half ( 2 meals add a little of the heart and liver to this meal as it does not contain a vast amount of meat ) so for a jill from one rabbit you would get 12 meals 10 for a hob hope this helps take care bye for now Bev
