Rather than get a kibble for travel, opt for a Freeze dried raw. It's not ideal, but it is far better than going back to kibble. You can feed raw while traveling providing you have something like a portable fridge or freezer, or even an esky but that one is a very last resort (yes portable freezers can be bought.)

if you r near stores you could walk in and buy. Going on vacation in about a week---going to try some dry ice on a 10 hour trip---taking some mice and rats---going to see how that works until i get to to a freezer.

I used to go camping for 4-5 days. With ice packs in a cooler, and meat put in frozen, it was still fresh for the last day
