So, we'll be off on a road trip with our 4 in the beginning of september. 1 month and 5000+ km. So we wanted to get them a comfy travel place. Well, I think we went a bit over ourselves ) We got the ferplast atlas maxi car crate. 100x80x70 cm. It's enourmous. Now where do we carry our luggage will be for another day to worry this fills up the entire trunk! Pretty crummy pic but in the hammock you can kinda see one of our biggest boys for scale

I really like that. Absinthefairy, do u have a website for that specific one? I like the little screen, thinking ones for cats and dogs might have big holes in the door area. Mine r always scratching to get out on way to vet---hammock nice idea.
I bet mine would use that at home for a place to sleep.

We keep it at home open for them to sleep in. The holes were large since it was a dog crate but we modified it, we put a metal mesh thing over it to ferret proof It's this one - www.ferplast.com/eu/atlas-car-7946.html. The maxi version

That looks to be comfy. We have a couple awesome ravel cages made by Nylabone about 10 years back. We can't seem to find them anymore. They fold up to about 4 inches thick. This is them on our trip to the Bash
