I have PVC pipes, tunnels, starch packing peanuts for digging, and hard plastic baby toys but I am looking for other safe toys. I did click on the toy safety thread but a lot of those links no longer exist. Are the toys on a string meant for cats ok to use or would they eat the feathers on the end? Would the SPOT colorful spring toys be ok? I don't see anywhere that it says what it is made out of.

Where did you find starch packing peanuts? Right now we have some balls that have something in them to make noise like bells and beads (they are cat toys) that Charlie and Eli really like. Interested to see other ideas for safe toys.

You can buy them online, or possibly locally at places that sell mailing supplies.

I got them from Dr Foster and Smith, they sell an entire cardboard box full of the starch peanuts for like $10

Read more: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/21323/safe-toys#ixzz4F64btvOxI would just pull the feather off, so it would not get hung up in ferret's throat. None of my ferrets plays with toys, but my blaze stashes them from one room to another. She sometimes puts them with a meat stash. She likes small ones and these flat critters. The eyes and nose are fabric ---one just has thread( I must have got rid of what was there. Probably felt). I think one of these has crinkly paper in it Do not get anything with beads for stuffing. Someone lost their ferret do to this after it finally broke thru the fabric.
