It has been several weeks back, but everytime I think about it I smile, so I thought I would just share. I damp mop the ferrets bedroom frequently, and because it stays wet a while--- due to the texture in the vinyl--- I thought i would set a fan up and dry it (safely up out of ferrets way). My little blaze was in the room when I turned it on, must have been on high because it started blowing all the blackout curtains and other fabric on their cages wildly. She stopped in middle of the room to take this all in then darted for cover. After a few seconds she realized there was no boogeyman. So out of her fraidy hole she came to jump about in the waving cloth. Nice to see my Abbey with the torn ACL doing so much better as well. Although the vet said she would get arthritis in her knee, she was climbing the couch today and tussling with my Annabelle. I pull out the pillows a bit and make a narrow trough the length of couch for her and Annabelle to play in. Occasionally, there will be a little tail wagging from her

That is so precious! I love when they dance around and attack wiggling cloths! Mine love when I make the bed, usually ends up with them wrestling under the sheets for a while

Awwww i'm glad she's doing better. Arthritis can start at the site of a joint injury, but most critters including hoomans get it if they live long enough. We've had 25 ferrets here and no tail waggers (:

"Blankets and Sheets" is our (not so creative) name for it, and it's one of our fuzzies favorite games! We just keep tossing the fabrics over them when they emerge from underneath each time, over and over and over again. Take them for rides across the bed and floor! We don't have any curtains, but I imagine that would be even more fun - especially with the fan blowing them around - endless opportunities for fun and play as long as the fan is on!
