Hi everyone!
My girl has been so itchy. She eats the Origin red meat cat food, she has free eating . She's happy, active, eyes are clear. We use hardwood wood pellets as her litter bedding and fleece elsewhere in the cage.
She gets so itchy she falls out of her hammock to itch herself, and while playing stops to itch and scratch.
Could this be from not having enough animal fat in her diet?
I have never bathed her..not sure if that is an option for itchy skin.

It's spring is she shedding? Is she old enough to be adrenal? This can be one of the subtler signs ciao

Maybe try an oatmeal bath. Either baby food oatmeal or oatmeal ground up in a food processor. I'm not big on bathing my fuzzies either, but you could just make a paste and let it fall off (that's what I do for our puppy when her collar bothers her).
