So I wanted to know if any of you regularly give this to your ferrets and what types? Is cat hairball preventive good, such as petag?

Forum uses whole eggs---2 a week in shedding season. U can whip it up on a warm plate. Put it in hot tap water (whole egg with shell) for a couple minutes, but they may just eat it cold.
If it is three eggs someone will correct me, I have lost my bookmarks.
Hairball preventatives usually have sugary syrups and preservatives, so it is not recommended. Syrups r not good for ferrets as they r prone to insulinoma from eating carbs, so every little thing u can do in another way is better for them. Eggs will give funky stools, but it is okay.

Whole raw eggs are the best for hair in the stomach. Ferrets can get blockages from these as they can't vomit them up like cats do. The lecithin in the raw egg yolk actually breaks down the fat binding the hair together, allowing it to pass through in the stool safely.

Thank you for the information. My biggest problem is I got my ferret at 9 weeks old and he is switching to the more healthy food choices but he won't even try eggs and other things like that. How do you get them to?

Put some on your finger and let him lick it off. If that doesn't work, rub it on his lips so he licks it off and gets a taste for it.
