Great, I'm so glad she likes the quail and it is great you can get the turkey necks so easily! Can you post the new menu please? Yes Loki is doing great, they took the biggest bladder stone anyone has seen out of him, No idea how he survived with that. Keto received his des implant yesterday and will get the melatonin implant in a couple of weeks. He shock the heck out of me yesterday and ate a mouse, he fights me with the soup but took to the whole prey mouse with gusto!

I know exactly what you mean haha but im glad Loki is doing well. I hear a lot of people say on the facebook page saying how scary it is putting a ferret to sleep so im glad all is well! was the stone from a poor diet before you got him?
The menu i've been following is this but now i have to incorporate turkey neck back into it so it will probably change a bit again soon. but im going to wait until they are more used to bone in the bone in the turkey neck feels big.
Monday A.m. - chicken wing P.M. - chicken gizzard
tuesday A.M. - chicken wing p.m. - chicken thigh (or pork lion) thinking of alternating so they get a variation
wed. A.M. - CGH p.m - chicken heart
thursday a.m. - CGH p.m. - Chicken wing
Friday a.m. - CGH p.m. - 1/2 heart, 1/4 liver, 1/4 kidney
Saturday a.m. - quail p.m. - groud beef or beef cubes
sunday a.m. - chicken wing p.m. - 1/2 liver, 1/2 kidney
Update: they have been finishing their meals recently i measured all their food and give them roughly 3 oz each meal. the only thing they havent been finishing is the ground beef so i think im going to try beef cubes and see if they like that texture better.

Menu looks good. I would just use the pork loin Tuesday evening, they have enough chicken the rest of the week. You can try some salmon or tuna or something for them also, that will help with variety. You may have to actually put it in their mouths and make them taste it first but they usually go over well once they get a taste. Yes the stone Loki had was caused by having peas in the cat food she had been feeding them.

You can actually give them the whole fish bones and all. Sardines and anchovies are great for them. Fish do tend to make their poops smellier and I would not reccomend giving it more then once a week.

Same as all whole prey 24 -48 hours depending on room temp but I could only stand the smell for a few hours. Fed it on days I worked or over night and then got rid of it first thing in the morning if there was any left and have them breakfast! lol

Great! Here is another quiz for you: Give 2 examples of muscle meat Give 2 examples of edible bones Give 2 examples of organs Are cooked bones ok to feed ferrets? Why or why not? What is a healthy diet item that can be used for hairballs, and his often should you give it?

1. chicken thigh and gizzard 2. quail and CGH 3. kidney and liver 4. no, because when they chew it the bone can splinter easier and cut them.
egg yolk or whole egg mixed and it should only been given 2-3 times a week.

All good but eggs should only be given one per ferret per week or 2 during shedding season. What is your menu for the week? How are weights? Having an issues or concerns?
