I am 22 and a single mother of a 1.5 year old little girl. We adopted a 9 week old ferret (Crackle) from petco last weekend. I work in a veterinary clinic and am going to school full time in the fall with my end goal to go to vet school. I am very excited to have found a forum with other people so interested in the health of this wonderful little creatures. At first I was a little unsure about doing a raw diet but after reading the information on here I am ready to full commit to it.

Welcome to the HFF and to Ferrenthood. You're in for quite a ride. Crackle is darling. The HFF is really wonderful. We have so many experienced Ferrents here plus there are breeders, Mentors and we also have some other vet students. Our Ferrents live all over the world and everyone is kind and gentle and helpful. It's alot of fun here. We share stories and pictures. We talk about ferret related health issues and ferret related "drive their ferrent crazy issues". If you need any help navigating the forum then please ask. Have fun and see you around the HFF (dance)
