This is a menu we made up last night - due to the tummy issues left soupie on it for the week.

So we made this spreadsheet up to track menu vs at eaten. Put a column for a weekly weight(grams, ounces and pounds) Then space to record other pertinent info- poop...energy etc. Let us know if this is ok. I hope that this is a good format for us to use. I will change the menu each week as for the protein type and type of meat. Was thinking that Sunday we would pick a turkey for our protein for spaghetti strips and then include the heart for muscle meal and other organs as the examples show. Thanks Jami

I am on central time. The time change has messed with our schedules as well and my Furricanes want to sleep round the clock. I miss them. Yes, I have four - 3 boys and 1 wee girlie who is the acknowledged boss of the business. Here is a picture of the whole gang. left to right: Casper (AKA GusGus or Chunky Butt), Slink E. Magoo, Leon Ardo, Minnie the Menace Your spreadsheet format looks fine, but I'm confused about the meal in the middle of the page (between AM meal and PM meal). Are you feeding 3 times a day? Over this next week, I want to see the ratio of soup to chunks/slivers decrease, less soup, more chunks/slivers. You don't have any organs or hearts on this menu. You need some. Iknow there is some in the soup, but I'd like to start working on getting them to eat their hearts and organs on their own. How are the poops looking for both boys? And how is Jax doing with his soup? Have you started adding any slivers to his yet?

As you fill out this journal page, make a note after each meal of how much leftover there was, poops (doesn't have to be specific, just 'normal, loose, yellow, dark' or whatever), and any unusual activity. This will help you determine 'normal' for each boy.
What proteins do you have on hand for the boys right now? I know beef. Anything else? Any organs or heart that is NOT made into soup?

I only made this up with soupie to finish this week.....Thursday through Saturday. I was going to make up a new menu Saturday for the next week Sun-Mon. Which will include the organ meat, muscle heart etc. The midday meal is for Jax -- we are trying to provide him extra as he plays catch up and as discussed with you. The only days we feed Gomez midday is on the weekends or when we are home. We have a number of proteins on hand....venison heart and liver and rib meat Veal kidneys and heart Chicken heart and gizzard Beef heart Turkey wings and thighs Chicken wings and tips Lamb riblet Beef steak All prepped and packaged into 1or 2 ounce servings. We listed all this in the original tread and we were told that info would all migrate to our actual switch thread..... Guess I'm just confused. Jami

Also there is a notes section. Where there will be all the additional info you have requested. ....poop and energy level etc...and then if you'll notice under menu there is a heading for EATEN....which is where I'll indicate how much of that meal was consumed.

Ahhh, gotcha! You had said you were doing one for the remainder of this week, but then it started with Sunday and with the tummy issues, I thought maybe you were planning to start this on Sunday instead of today.
Midday meal is for Jax. Good. That's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure.
As far as your info 'migrating', it doesn't actually move over here, but it is linked. And since I wasn't keeping up with your switch until recently, I forgot that you already got a lot of meats ready. I'm sorry. My real life is super busy right now and it's hard to keep up with everything. Also, I tend to repeat things (instructions and information) just to make sure I've covered it WITH YOU. When I have multiple switches going, I can't always remember what I've told to whom.

Morning, we'll the last few days have been very trying. Both boys are being stubborn little farts! They push, scratch, buck, refuse strips.....will eat liver fine in strips and other things in small.chunks but nope don't want the long strips. Gomez is being a little better than Jax, even dribbling salmon oil is not helping. Jami and I have worn more raw food this week than ever, Jami has been bit 2 times by Jax- no blood but when your trying to get to the hinge and his jaws are stronger than Gimez's. Off to work, boys have food left in their condo's so we'll see.

I don't want meal times to be stressful for any of you. Skip the strips and just make their small chunks progressively bigger.

Hi so did dinner was small chunks and medium ones with soupie. Didn't go so well. While they both ate more than at breakfast....it still wasn't much. ? They struggled against us.pushed our hands or the spoon away or took the chunks and wriggled out to spit them. We have put them both in their houses along with the remaining balance of dinner. Hopefully they will eat some on their own. It was not a good experience for any of us.... ?

They may have just had a not so hungry day. Mine do that every once in a while. Or they may be protesting against the bigger chunks. The chunks are beef or chicken?
That poop doesn't look so good again. That's what I expect from Jax, not Gomez. You are sure that's Gomez, right? Well, yes, because he went during dinner. Hmmm... That was after a smallish breakfast of soup and beef chunks and nothing the rest of the day?
