Their sleeping mansion! I got this cage used for $50. It is a discontinued model Super Pet ferret cage. Typically I leave it open & they just sleep in it, but right now we are going through some hard intros so its used on a rotational basis. I made all the hammocks (except the monkey one). There is a purple corner litter box in the very bottom. The two bright pink things are home made litter boxes. I used organizers from the dollar store, poked some holes & put a ziptie thru to attach a carabineer. The room is hard to take pictures of, but this is the most of it. It's 5ft x 10ft. Litter boxes at one end, sleeping & food at the other, with a myriad of boxes, tunnels, tubes, ball pit in the middle. The white draw unit has ferret supplies, dog supplies, and we are filling the bottom draw with rice for a dig box.

That looks all snug and cozy. The play area will be fun for them. You did a great job building their happy home.

We were going to tile the floor, however it doesn't appear as though the tenants mind However, Bear & Willy are currently confined to the cage unless supervised. 1) They eat much better in the cage, as they can't stash their goodies. 2) Its helping them bond with less space to avoid each other 3) Miss Bear has learned some new tricks, like climbing up the cage & INTO the wall. INTO THE WALL!! we still don't know where she got into the wall, so until then Miss Houdini is in the cage

Thanks! It was a a lot of trial & error to figure out how to organize it. Especially since too mounted hammocks are only good in the very top. All the other hammocks have to be able to span the depth of the cage I get my tunnels from the carpet store for free. Though they made me promise I will bring one of my fuzzies with me next time They are cardboard, but they don't need to replaced very often provided I keep them away from litter boxes & the feeding den. Can't decide which is gross - caked on poo, or jerkified meat. I cut the legs of some old flannel pajama pants put them thru the tube, rolled the ends out & over, and taped. Bear loves the tri-tunnel to duck in & out of when we hand wrestle.

I told myself I wasn't going to make anymore hammocks, but then I was at Walmart and say the cutest pattern set So now they have a polka dot hammock, and a dinosaur snuggle sac. My ferrets are spoiled because have no self control
