So I think it's official. Koda is definitely adrenal and NOT just full of Spring Fever. I was late setting up his Lupron shot this month (Des is still on backorder)...well he is acting up BADLY. he was going after poor Kenai so badly tonight that I had to separate them. Tonight is the worst I have seen him act yet - I even Coated Kenai in vinegar (usually deters Koda) and Koda was still going ballistic. Now that I have them separated Koda is throwing a total fit too. He has had 3 Lupron shots total so if it was just Spring Fever the behavior should have stopped, correct? He is being terrible tonight I have NEVER seen him this bad... I have also never seen him throw such a fit at being separated. Grrrrr the DES needs to hurry up and get in! Lupron is getting to be expensive.

Sorry Katt. I hope you can get the des in too, it's really helped my Craven, took about 3 weeks for him to completely stop going after the others but it lessened during that time and he's growing some hair back too, and with Pip having his adrenal removed it's finally calm and happy around here again.

oh that sucks. :(I have seen that aggression before. Are you giving Melatonin? It helps sometimes.

Well he won't get his next shot until Monday because I don't get pain until the 20th and I am broke as broke can be. *grumbles something incoherent about car tires* Man on man though you should have heard the tantrum he threw last night after I separated them! He was banging on cage bars, flinging water everywhere, trying to pull up the FN cage pan, digging all of the litter out of his box, biting the cage bars, digging the cage bars, pushing the water dish around, banging things into cage bars, digging in the litter box, throwing things... I fully expect to come home to find a horrible mess after work today including poops. Good thing I planned on deep cleaning the cage today anyways! Little turd!

check your message inbox My Lemmy used to throw horrendous fits like that. He was so aggressive that if you just walked by him (didn't touch him at all) he'd attack and bite our legs or slippers. He'd mount our sneakers and bite / shake really hard. And this would occur when the next lupron dose was past due. Actually I was hardly ever late with lupron. But I think on lemmy it would only last about 3 weeks. That is why I harassed the vet do much until he finally ordered the deslorelin.

Thanks. I will go check my messages now. This is definitely the worst I have seen Koda yet. It will be interesting when I let them out tonight...
