What are the best things to clean a ferrets teeth (dental gel/paste), ears, and eyes with? I would prefer natural things to storebought

Teeth: raw meat and bones Ears: another ferret! ;D Olive oil a d a cotton swab works well Eyes: you should not need to clean their eyes. In fact unless they have some sort of infection (in which case see a vet) or something stuck (also see a vet) you should avoid cleaning their eyes ever.

Ok good to know about eyes. Is there a dental gel or toothpaste safe for ferrets?

I know they make dental sticks, similar to dogs and cat dental chew treats.
But I just use chicken wings =] ... for them to gnaw on.

I do NOT recommend those ferret dental treats. They are bad bad news. I got some when they were out of N-Bones. First they made Koda choke, then they led to a serious blockage scare.
Pony if you are feeding raw you should never have to clean your ferrets' teeth - they will be pearly white from chewing bones. However, if you are feeding kibble or freeze dried then yeah they will probably need regular teeth cleanings. I don't know of any particular recommendations, but most feline toothpastes should work well.

I would look into freeze dried. Much healthier than kibble for when you are not home but equally convenient.

Try Stella and Chewys. It's not as expensive as wysong, and is very good for them

I was referring to N-bones... those are the only dental sticks I know of... sorry for the confusion. I just couldn't remember the name as I personally have never used them.

I was gonna do wysong but it seems so expensive for something they arent gonna be eating often But it stays good for a long time. Especially if you put it in the fridge or freezer. So you can buy a pack, and then have it last for forever and just use it here and there as you need to. Jessica I don't think N-bones are technically dental chews are they...? I can see how they could be. Koda LOVES them. They aren't the healthiest treat but he loves them so much I just can't say no. And it's not as if they are that unhealthy either so you know... hehe

I use chicken bones and game hen bones, but also Oxyfresh Pet Gel because Hunter had a lifelong kibble diet when I adopted him and he would not chew bones his gums were so bad. It has Aloe vera in it for healing and it worked a small miracle on his mouth

The breeder at GFX uses Chlorhexidine to clean her ferts mouths. I use it for my little girl Salem, since she is on a soup diet. It will also kill any lurking bacteria. It's awesome stuff. Just make sure when you use it that the fert doesn't get much down it's throat! It's the same stuff that dentists use. Here's where I got mine: www.amazon.com/Chlorhexidine-Flush-Wound-Care-16-Ounce/dp/B003J9HRFUWhat I do is drip a small amount on the tooth brush and brush away, or you could put it in a spray bottle and spray the teeth, then brush.
