I found some krill oil bone meal and taurine powder on amozon for a good price. Should I buy them to put in soup or on meat? If so how much and how may times a week?

You could certainly get it. I've not personally heard of krill oil, but it should be alright for them. The one problem with bone meal is it's usually cooked, so most of the nutrition is gone. I was lucky enough to find the raw feeding store I frequent has it raw in the freezers, so I do use that in soups. And the taurine is definitely a good idea for those times you can't get enough heart for them.

Always handy to have taurine on hand in case you can't find heart.

I think Krill oil is fairly new (or at least its newly a popular item) working in the human medical field I can only say benefits I've over heard the doc talking about for people; when taken to control cholesterol it has the same general benefits as fish oil but krill does it with lower doses, so its more efficient, and it does it with out the 'fish burps' people commonly complain about-- and I'm pretty sure (don't quote me, I work in the lab and I only trained to know how to collect and prepare bodily fluids (like blood and yuckier stuff) for testing) that it doesnt have as much of the heavy metals/lead risks that fish oil does. I have wondered about weather or not it would have less/more/the same benefits for ferrets as fish oil but since its fairly new (or newly popular) I dont know weather or not anyone would know the answer to that question
