I have weighed them today and it seems like they have gained slightly. How often should I weigh these boys? Thank you! @julesalot is right, once a week is a good thing and write it down. We also recommend pictures, one an above shot with them on the floor in a natural position and the second with you dangling them so their waist and length can be seen.

If twice a week is what you would like to do, that's fine but once a week is good for weighing. They are so adorable licking the bowl clean! :goodjob:

Bubba is just munching away on his own when I put the bowl in front of him. Kyuubi has to be coaxed a bit but then takes off just the same. Bubba has eaten a little over 2 oz so far kyuubi is juuust under the 2 oz mark. It seems like the amounts are different day to day haha. Very soon maybe next week I will be tucking in some chunks of meat ;)I am so pleased with their progress.

I do not know if it is too soon to see changes or not but their coats are feeling softer with every day I give them raw. Is this possible or is it wishful thinking?

It definitely is possible! All the water in meat/soup allows fuzzers to get the hydration they so desperately need, as kibble fed ferts are always at least somewhat dehydrated. They're getting healthier, and so are their coats.

You know I have noticed that they hardly ever go to drink water anymore o.o they used to constantly drink drink drink. So glad they are becoming healthier!

My boys have started eating out of the bowl on their own now. I can leave the bowl in the cage and they will eat themselves when they are hungry.also they have been starting to try slivers as well

They are moving right along! :goodjob: Make sure you're measuring how much they eat. It's very helpful to know this to avoid waste or not having enough if you are not there to supervise 24/7.

Yay! That's really wonderful to hear. Eating on their own is a huge step, and you should be proud of them and yourself also.
Sorry if I'm a little absent at times, I just started volunteering at the local shelter, and my hours are insane, lol. Have to get my schedule sorted out, but until then I don't know how long or how often I'll be there. Today I was there was over 11 hours (twitch) ... lol.
Remind me, how big are the slivers they are eating right now, and about how many do you think they're eating per day?

Well the slivers are about a nickle size and they are each eating about 3 oz a day each so far. See it was an accident that they had slivers lol my blender got caught up in the tendons and did not properly blend right. Next thing I knew they were munching on large pieces of meat. Also Bubba seems to be gaining much more than kyuubi and kyuubi does not seem as interested in food as Bubba is but will eat when he sees bubba eat. I am not worried . I think he just wants to play more and explore than eat. I will weigh them Monday to make sure everything is on the right track.

Sounds good, if you can tomorrow also get some pictures of them from above and of their waste. Above just standing over them, maybe while their food is in the floor and they're eating. And then the waist just while holding them up under their arms (belly view). Along with the weights.
