Though our Triton passed on April 29 I feel he must be known regardless of how little it might be...We got Triton (AS well as Noa) July 18, 2014...They were both rescues that we adopted he had insulinoma (we were not aware at the time) but it never stopped him he would always play hard and care for the others...We saw him doing the stages of shock and took him to the vet to learn he had it...he was placed on meds of course and for the time he was great...but eventually his insulinoma over powered his meds...we did not notice because we didn't feel any weight loss or changes in his behavior or activities so on April 29 he was in too far poor condition to fight back...everything he swallowed he threw up...we had to have him put down...we were there with him all the way till the end...And he was greatly loved by the ferrets...he always let them play hard with him and he'd take it...he also always woke up when one was crying in their sleep and cuddled them back into sleeping bliss...He was and still is our king of lions...
