Hi, would someone be able to tell me what color is this kit? His mother is a marked white and his father is a sable. Thanks!

It's too young to tell for sure but you've a sable kit with milk toes (at least on the back) and a possible blaze. He/she needs time to put on her real fur ciao

All baby ferrets are a similar shade of gray unless they're some of the pale colours or albinos. Those same babies a little while later Final colours ciao

I like it, Lupin sounds perfect.
Ferrets change their colors, did you know that? Even once they are grown. In the Winter, they develope a heavier coat. Their undercoat is primarily cream or white, so we see a pattern change. In the spring, they loss the winter coat and their guard hairs emerge. That is what makes for their patterns. Whites especially will change. My Juliet and Keller lose the silver on them in the winter. Roamy has a mask and his mask slips down to a V shape. Mika and Wynstan are champagnes, but they get darker in the spring.
You have a tiny Tummy with Teeth. He can eat alot and will for the next few months. What are you currently feeding him?
Is Lupin (tbd) your first ferret?

Congratulations on getting your girls to 8 and 9. That doesn't happen enough here in the States. Lupin seemed so little, I thought you either had a large hand or he was quite young. Warning: Ferret Math is very contagious on the Forum. It seems to pass thru the keyboards and into our hearts. Thank you, I'm prejudiced, but I think mine are pretty too.

My guys are poley hybrids. You should see your little ones true colours by about 5/6 weeks, depending on how stable the colours are. I know exactly what I will get because as far back as I can go they look, just like that. By the time you bring your little one home at 12 weeks his colour will be set. ciao
