Touch his nose with it and point him in the direction. Minion stuck his own nose in the soupy and just started slurping ;D

he just arived at Petco wednsday. he is pretty skinny. (him and one other his size were in a cage with 6 other full size ferrets). don't think he has eaten much. should I also put dry kibble in the cage until he gains some weight? you can seel his ribs. he was a little nervous around the girls but he soon warmed up to them.

No, I'd not even bother with the kibble with him. You can either try him on some raw puree, or even just cut up some chicken for him in small bits. You may have to pop one or two in his mouth, but that should be about it ;D
Oh, and make sure you give him a good bit of fat with the meat, as in leave on all the skin and the fat under it. He needs that.

well, I tried what u said and when I popped it in his mouth, he spit it back in my face. GROSE!!! so since I work tomarrow I gave in and gave him some kibble so I can get to sleep because he was starving. he ate 1/2cp at one sitting. I guess It might be better to start it on Sunday when i dont work so I can use a seringe and feed him throughout the day. what do u think???

oh yeah, I'm guessing he will have some loose stools with the change of diet. should I add any pedialite or anything so his body dosnt get low on fluids from loose stools?

ok so this morning I did a little back slide with my girls for the boys sake. I ground some kibble in the soup. fed boy through syringe, then dunked his face in bowl. he cleaned up face and took 2 licks out of bowl. oh and a bit off subject.. how do u know when it will be a bad day??? when you clean there litter box and spaz headbutts the scoop and poop lands all over your feet AND when u make there soup and spill it all over yourself. GROSS!!
