Our two ferrets have been eating frozen mice for about 3 weeks now. I would like to know what other animals they should eat and how often.

Chicken, quail, rats, rabbits, squirrel, etc. Try to include a rotation between three on a regular basis.

My guys love pork. Shouldn't feed wild boar but store bought pork is fine. If you're looking for prey animals...my guys eat, rats, mice ASF rats, quail, rabbit and guinea pig. Frankenprey (meats bought at the store)...anything that isn't salt treated, smoked or flavour enhanced ciao

We use to feed our German Shepherd road kill as we call it. I got a squirrel in freezer that our friend shot while trying to rob their birdfeeder. Just haven't got up nerve to feed it to them. How did they like it? As many guinea pigs that i have skinned, I wont need hubbie to help me -----but i am going to let him show me anyway .

What age/size quail should we feed them? Is it substantial to feed them a rotation of quail, and adult mice and rats?

Each protein type provides different necessary nutrients, it is recommended a minimum of 3 protein types be used for rotation. Here is a thread with many helpful links to help explain things, holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/17480/intro-raw-newbies-read It is a lot of info to go through but it is important information. Adult animals are best as they provide the most complete nutrition.
