(If I was on my computer happy dancing emoticon would be here) That's perfect! Sometimes it's just finding the way in which they will eat! Three meals is perfectly acceptable.
Would you mind posting a picture the slivers or a meal? Just want to see where we are at.

Okay here's some skirt steak slivers. This is as small as I can make them right now because all of our knives are pretty dull and terrible. I noticed in the process of taking this pic that the slivers stick together a LOT to form bigger chunks, so I am putting more effort into trying to keep them as separate as possible to make them easy to eat. Here's lunch - 50g beef soup, 21g slivers, 25g water

That is more soupy then I realized! I don't want to change to much at once and get them off their food but I would like to see less water in the soup as well. So more slivers and adding less water are the two that I want you to focus on for the next couple of days. Sliver sizes are great, however, and I love that they are eating that size already! Have you watched all of them eat the slivers yet? Or do you know who is eating the slivers, who avoids them, who just licks the soup off of them (giggle) ?? I want to be sure that if someone is falling behind we can be able to push them forward by using different methods.

As far as I can tell, Peanut is the only one who will eat the slivers. I've seen Porkchop eat them but I think he avoids them where possible. I don't know if Raisin is eating any and I don't think Noodles is at all.

Okay, keep an eye on them, and lets start reducing that water, you can add more soup but less water so the volume is the same so that they aren't filling up on to much water.

Okay scratch that, I just watched everyone eat slivers except Raisin, who ate around them.

 Makes me feel much better! I'm glad you were able to find out who was eating what, with Raisin lets give it a day or two and see if she decides to like slivers or not. There are a few things we can try if she is stubborn about it.

Today was meal prep day. I made sooooo much soup. I also bought some porkchops - I tried to cut up as many as I could into slivers but I got tired! I also got a couple of cheap steaks to chop up. I made both pork and beef soup. My freezer is full!

Oh, yeah. I am a crazy bargain shopper and found a co-op to buy bulk from. The above only coast me 50 bucks, well worth the day of prep!

Ugh I think they are on a hunger strike since I switch the protein out. They were eating beef but today I gave them pork and they haven't had a single bite as far as I can tell.. I'm using a lot less water too though.

When starting off with a different protein sometimes they need a little coaxing. With new textures too. Try sitting them in your lap and using either your finger or a spoon to see if you can get them to eat a little bit. When they starting eating it lower your finger or the spoon to the bowl and they normally get the idea and start eating out of the bowl. If they are really resisting you can always add a small amount of water to a slightly thinner consistency.

Yeah, it's not even new though. Right now we are going between pork and beef with chicken hearts and livers. They like both beef and pork, but if one day they eat pork and the next day they get beef, they freak out. I did go ahead and try spoonfeeding everyone. Peanut, Noodles and Porkchop were all receptive to that. Raisin was not but since it's the weekend I can watch her throughout the day to see if she's eating.
