Anyone know of a good (as cheap as possible) dog crate that is indestructible? I bought a new one last night from my work that is one of those metal bar kennel/crates and my dog has completely bent the bars while in there for 1 and 1/2 hours while I walked down to my mother's to eat dinner with my grandma and aunt.

Thanks. That one is too small and a little out of my price range.

Ah, I see the larger one. Still very pricey ^^;
I have the metals priced needed to just make it out of metal at $277.
However, I'm thinking that maybe I should make it out of wood and line the inside with thin metal... I can get free wood, so the cost of that would be just the cost of the thin sheets of metal... which they are $12 a sheet.
I'm just not sure which I want to go with, since I also need to do work on the outdoor pen.

Stick with metal. If your dog is that destructive, it will chew and scratch up wood, possibly consuming some.
If you need a large and very sturdy crate or at-home kennel, just make it yourself. A cheap crate in my experience has too many problems. I really don't think you're going to find what you're looking for for less than what it would cost to make it.

It depends on how HAM you go. If you're bolting heavy metal siding onto the wood, then probably not. If you're just nailing some thin metal sheeting, it doesn't sound like it would hold your dog back for long. I've owned and known dogs who dent and warp metal sheeting when their owners leave the house trying to find them.
Ultimately, only you know your dog and your budget. I can't tell you what to do, but this is what I'd recommend with what I know

For now, I'm putting him in the pen during the day while I'm at work, and he's been sleeping in bed with me at night. He doesn't destroy anything as long as he's with me.
