I think you should try doing the sliver sized chunks, but add some mashed bones in. Mash a chicken neck or whatever meat with a soft bone into a stingy bone/meat purée. Then cut that up into slivers. Then make her a meal with 3/4 of just meat slivers and 1/4 meat with bone slivers. If one fourth is too intimidating for her, then add less. And of course gradually increase the amount of the bone in slivers vs just meat ones. I would recommend to concentrate on getting her eating the bones before increasing the sliver size for now. Tell me how it goes

Another thing I was doing with mine to get them used to bone pieces was to cut the soft bone ends with the cartilage. I cut them up so it was an even mix of bone, cartilage and just a bit more meat. And then you can cut that to whatever size she will take, maybe even smaller (so it's less intimidating). The point of this is to get them used to crunchy and soft textures together.
