Koda and Kenai had their first outdoor hunt of the season! www.holisticferret60.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=livefeeding&thread=1757I was hoping it would help show Kenai that the outdoors can be fun after all. I'll let the pics do the talking Koda looking for more mice Oh hi mom! Kenai Koala A second before this picture he was rolling all over loving the massage Oh my! What a luxurious coat you have Kenai! Kenai Bear all poofed up! He saw me coming and arched up like a cat! It was hilarious! OF course iPhone shutter speed is slow so I didn't get the full arch and poof in the picture, but still a funny shot. Investigating the deep grass it cracks me up the way they bury their faces ;D He tunneled through WAIT..... wait for it... what...... is this KENAI.... Having FUN.... OUTSIDE?!?!?!?! ;D ;D ;D ;D you can see what good camouflage ferrets have Koda found a dig spot. HE made a decent sized tunnel Helping Koda Tunnel... HI! Look what we did! Enjoy!

Koda was just a baby when he went out - even Younger actually! So meh Kenai! haha I hope he learns to like it more. I am considering bringing them to the beach this year. Worst thing that could happen is they'd be stuck in their cage a lot. But at least they'd get to see some new stuff, and still get some attention. If I leave them home they will be stuck in their cage, and not get much attention or get to see new things. I have to be SUPER careful if I want to bring them outside at the beach though because there are a LOT of eagles swooping around there. So we shall see...

Oooo we will definitely need LOTS of pics then! The beaches here are not sandy tropical beaches. They are wild and rocky.

I guess getting his mouse outside has taught him the outdoors holds more than big spaces to be afraid of then? ;D
