Had a hard time picking just one for the contest, so I thought I'd throw my extras up here, they're too much fun not to share ;D. Akiko in action, leapfroggin' dandelions And she's stomping them too...or maybe pointing across the street ;D Mokkun is such a handsome boy, he knows all about the camera Tadakichi was too busy sniffing for me to get a good shot of him, but the flowers around him sure turned out nice

I wish flowers were something I could have here...when I do manage to grow them they either get run over by DH or the dogs eat them....yes, my dogs are "special" and actually ate three hybiscus bushes...full sized, 6 ft tall bushes, chewed down to stumps

Those are wonderful pictures! I wish I had a secure yard so they could just run in it Oh well, maybe in my next lifetime ;D And Rose- I'm sorry, I know that must have made you very upset, but I have to laugh still ;D It's hilarious!

Those are beautiful ferrets and you got some beautiful pictures of them. I especially like Mokkun's look, he's stunning But then again, I am partial to mitts, blazes, pandas, etc... all those unnatural color patters. I know... but I can't help it they are so cute

Thank you, we had a lot of fun taking them! I wish there was a way to ferret-proof the yard...we have chain link on three sides and a picket fence on the front...I only weed-whack the perimeter in the winter (to clear out the dead grass from the previous season) so they usually have a layer of tall grass to fight through before finding the holes. Even so, for harness-less pics I keep them in arms reach and have my husband standing guard as well in case they bolt. Fortunately we live on a really quiet street so they've never spooked there, but I'm always watchful...they are fast!

I do the same thing Hannah, but only with Pixie. She is the only one who will walk by my side and not spook easily. She loves the free range outside time. We often walk to the mailbox together
