So I gave Dalia some coconut oil, and while she was licking it off her tummy, I noticed that she has developed a heart on her head! Do any of your ferrets have any funny/cute designs in their fur?

So cute! I saw a pic of a ferret once who had a very stark, very obvious dark brown/black heart on his pale pink nose. We always joke that Mocha looks like she's wearing a suit so she is the CEO of our business. Her legs are quite a bit darker than the rest of her, but when her winter coat came in she got big white spots right on her "knees" and it looks like she's wearing knee pads. I don't have a picture, and can't wake her now since I still have some cleaning to do which involves open closets.. But I will try to get one later

It's funny you guys mention suits, that's why Elwood's name is Elwood... He's black and white and reminded me of a suit, and that made me think of The Blues Brothers

I was really torn between Elwood and Eliot Ness because I also love The Untouchables TV show. I'm glad I went with Elwood because when Jake arrived, it was only right to complete the duo

So I got a pic of one of Mo's knee pads. Needless to say she wasn't in a cooperative mood so it isn't the best shot

I love knee pads. When we got Lola she had 3 dark legs and one white one. Then there's Pandy That spot behind her ear is the only marking she has. It was one of the reasons I got her out of Petco. As much as I love the look of a good old sable, I like unique markings too. Makes the fuzz more unique. Elwood is amazing. Taz, too.

katt, so jealous! My husband told me since we had ferrets it would be really unsafe/a bad idea to get a pet snake too. Then again, he'd probably divorce me if I came home with a snake, he's so terrified of them that he will refuse to go in a pet store that sells them. A shame since snakes are so soft and smooth and muscle-y and really quite beautiful.

I don't know if I'm allowed to share pictures of other peoples' ferrets, but someone just posted their new baby today and he has EYEBROWS! And knee pads!

Do you know they call those wee ones with the belly spots and such mutts. I've had a couple turned in with adorable spots. It usually means that they're deaf or neural crest but they're cute anyway ciao
