What do you use to grind up chicken? My little guys seemed interested in my hotdog and I didn't think i would be good to let them have a bite. So I decided to make them some raw soup just to see how they like it as a snack until I get to Florida. I currently don't have a blender or anything of those sort, so what do you suggest I get, I am probably going to use one of the wings I bought for our dinner. So something that can blend bones, I guess.

If you live somewhere with a second-hand store (goodwill, value village, etc) check them for an old hand-crank style meat grinder. I found mine for $5 and it handles chicken bones fine and I prefer to use it for soups too (no gunking up my blender with skin or tendons ;D)!

I didn't plan on feeding ground anything for very long so I just bought some pre ground from the grocery store, figured that was cheaper than buying a grinder that would only get used for a few weeks. I heard rummage sales were a good place to look for cheap ones but I started raw in the winter and there aren't any going on then.

Definitely try with some ground chicken and ground turkey. You can also try with ground beef, but some are very definite on not liking that ;D Mine will eat beef chunks, but show 'em ground beef? They'd rather starve

Yeah I have a food processor from Dave & Busters arcade, I traded in my tickets for it cause I had no use for stuffed animals of any size. It came in handy cause now I use it for grinding up meats and the likes. My kids like liver, but only if I blend it up, so that came handy cause I was NOT touching liver and slicing it. Bleh.
