So as most of you know, Kenai is "special." He is SO slow to figure things out. We love him though so it's okay. Anyways, he JUST figured out how to get out of the tub. It was SO cute. So I ran to get the camera and made him do it again. It was of course much cuter the first time, and took him significantly longer/more tries. But this is a HUGE step for him. And a bummer because it was such a nice way to contain him before! ;D Ignore my gross voice. I was losing my voice, and stuffed up from my cold. I sound all squeaky. lmao

I've only had a couple figure that one out. Way to go Kenai. Most of my Marshals kids are too small and just don't seem to get the hang of it. Mad Max, Ghenghis and Attila were the best...they figured out not only how to get out but how to get in too. Mad Max made it look easy, one beautiful jump to the side and out. Even in old age and severely adrenal that was one jump he kept up. Great work Kenai....{hugs} for a special boy ciao

Really Heather?! Wow!!!! Koda has been able to get in and out with ease for...well forever! I assumed that was normal and that Kenai was slow (as usual). He still can't get up on he bed without some sort of step.

So sweet! Mine can't get out of the tub, and most can't jump in, though Oz can jump in. We have to block the tub off, because he'd get stuck in there. There's a groove on the outside that he uses to push himself off of when he jumps in. no such groove on the inside.

Huh... Interesting. I always thought all ferrets could do it! Koda is one leap in, one leap out. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised though. lmao It is Koda after all. Well in that case, an extra treat for Kenai when I get home!

Out of 9, we only had three who could ever get in and out. Boris, Willow, and Suki.

Kenai is smarter than he plays it and has had enough of water see. So he has learned to escape the tub ... At least, that's what Paulie says he was thinking. (Paulie hears the bath water turn on and runs into his drawer--just in case the water is for him).

Go Kenai! I think the larger ferrets are generally more lazy and its harder for then to get in and out of tubs etc. For that reason. That's been my experience anyway. Sonny jumps in and out like an olympian athlete. Lol. He runs around the rim knocks over shampoo bottles. The tub in the guest bathroom is a big hidey place for him now. He has all of his favorite toys in there : 2 sock monkeys, some brown paper bags, a tennis ball, some meat chunks. I'm getting a picture of it. He's a strange one. here is a pic of the tub. Note the greasy brown paper bag that's where he eats the meat that he carries in there. I've had to sew sock monkey 1 and 2 several times

Captain Jack is envious of Sonny's sock monkeys...he lovied his Jack the monkey until it had to be hung on his harness hook in the ferret room. Nice bit of booty on Sonny's part, great stash spot too ciao
