Yay I got my FN142 yesterday! I used whatever I had on hand to decorate it. It looks goofy LOL... Will look much nicer when my bedding set arrives! I love this cage and so do my fuzzies! P1010236 by walkerstop, on Flickr P1010238 by walkerstop, on Flickr P1010237 by walkerstop, on Flickr

Congrats! What did you use on the bottom (the green fabric)? It looks super soft and cuddly.

I think thats a bath mat. I was gonna use one. They seem to be the best size. I even used a dog bed at one point. I think I'm gonna have to again, since they are now pooping outside of a certain litterbox.
Anyhow, they seem to like it. Thats all that matters.

Congrats! What did you use on the bottom (the green fabric)? It looks super soft and cuddly. Yep it's a bath mat, and it happened to be the exact same size as the bottom pan of the cage! It's really soft and they like it.

Awesome! I got mine last week and love it! Where did you get the water bowls? I want some that lock on, but have only found them in gray and black

Looks good, but I have one concern, and that is if the bath mat has a rubber backing...

Looks good, but I have one concern, and that is if the bath mat has a rubber backing... Nope fortunately this rug / bath mat doesn't have a backing! It's 100% cotton I kinda want to get a couple more, when one is dirty I can just throw it in the washing machine... The water and food bowls I got from Petco!

Congrats on your new cage. I really like the bathmat idea. ;D You have to be VERY careful they are not bathmats with rubber bottoms. Major blockage hazard there.

Yeah I'm not sure the green thing is even a bathmat, not sure what the difference between a bathmat and a rug is. It doesn't have backing so it seems to me like if you used it on a smooth floor it would just slide around. It's not bad for the bottom of the cage though. Although Fenton figured out that he can get under it so sometimes I have to straighten it back up.

Update: The cage just got remodeled! I ordered some bedding and extra hiding/sleeping places from Virginia Partham and I finally got around to setting it up in the cage. Here's my first try at arranging things, we'll see how the ferts like it! P1010280 by walkerstop, on Flickr P1010281 by walkerstop, on Flickr
