I have a hole cut in my ferret nation that is currently used for a remote litter box. Furniture was moved and there isn't space for the storage tub anymore. They have a litter pan in their cage anyway and I can just clean that more often. So I'm wondering what is an easy way to block the hole.

Thanks! I actually have an old mouse cage that I will never use so I can take one of those panels and zip tie it to the FN. That would be sturdier than chicken wire.

That's a good idea.
I used parts from a cage that Roamy and Juliet arrived in, and reinforced the bottom of my cage.
I had to reinforce the cage when I brought Mika home, she was a tiny baby and Roamy was determined to eat her. I had to use wire ties and really secure it.
He worked hard at getting to her and she was fierce and fiesty and wanted to get to him. She just knew she could take him on. Silly girl, now she adores Roamy and gives him kisses and he treats her like he is her daddy.
