I know the feisty ferret has no bottom pan - not sure on the Marshall one.

The Marshall has a bottom pan but no top? I think is how it is.

Yea that's how it looks in the photo. Read all thirty-some reviews on ferret.com and that's what I gathered. Just the one pan; some website photos show the pan being used on the shelf under the cage, others show it in the bottom floor inside. All of the pictures are at an angle so that you don't really see the middle/upper floor but it is just wire if I understand right. Either way, I was going to make fabric covers for the flooring of whichever cage I got . But with it possibly being flimsy, that makes me worry. I have 5 ferrets now, two are 3.5lb+ boys. Can't afford flimsiness. I'll just worry all day at work

Yeah I can understand that. My husband is a penny pincher too and he found the extra $50 was worth it when I explained both.
