chance's owner Katie Sue was kind enough to allow us to use this video to show what a reaction to pre-vaccination treatment benadryl can show up as. From what I understand this went on for about 8 hours. The vet can do little for this, nor is it fatal.

Poor baby. I do allergy testing and immunotherapy and therefore work with benadryl daily. For most it knocks them out for hours, but for some, usually children, it has the opposite effect and their bouncing off the walls. This poor guy almost looks like he's hopped up on something. I wonder if it's a similar effect? Also, would one still go ahead with the shots if they have this reaction? I would guess no

Poor baby.....I know how he feels because that's my reaction to benadryl. It's a last resort drug for me. I physically hurt after a day of that twitching and fight or flight feeling in my chest. ciao

Wow, that is crazy! Poor little thing. And 8 hours? Yikes. Thanks for the video, I've never seen anything like it nor would have guessed it was an atypical reaction to Benadryl.
