Sorry I have not been on. I lost a very dear, very close family member Tues morning. I will be back in the next day or two.

That's okay. No change anyway. They ran outta rabbit and will have more than tomorrow. The winter temperatures make them eat more than I'm used to. I ordered 6lbs coarse ground rabbit and 6 lbs small chunks of rabbit. The chunks are bigger than the coarse ground, but smaller than rabbit pieces.

Winter appetites definitely are increased for all of us I think . Let me know how they do

The meat should come today or tomorrow. I'm chopping up a whole rabbit tonight. No organs are in it though.

Okay- something I would like you to try with the heart, liver, and organs. Puree half heart, 1/4 liver, and 1/4 other organ and hand feed. If necessary then add 1/2tsp heavy cream well mixed in. This will be weaned out.

Okay. I will do that this weekend. I got the rabbit. Thank God. It's thawing now. So they'll be fed it tomorrow. I also chopped up a whole rabbit as well to add to it. The rabbit chunks I ordered are about the size of a golf ball. Two bags of those. And two bags of course ground

Oh perfect! Do those size chunks include bone, and if so how do they do?

They do include bone. I sent you a message on Facebook. I'm struggling.

They won't eat the bigger pieces with bone. This is from last week. I had them eating rabbit, but when I cut up a whole rabbit and add pieces like you told me to, they leave the pieces I've cut and eat only the minced stuff. So I can't eat them eating anything bigger than the minced

This is what the food is now.

It takes time to get them accepting it, especially as they have been on strictly mince for so very long. As I mentioned on fb, take the rabbit pieces and chop them almost to a mince and feed that instead and let me know how they do.

No go on the plain rabbit mince I made. But I did the goose heart, goose liver, and I picked beef lung, puree. I dabbed it on all their mouths. One loved it. Lol. Everyone else thought they had been poisoned!

Just keep doing it. With the mince you made, try spoon feeding as well. With Boris every single time he'd not had a protein, it took hand feeding to get him eating it again.
