Today I discovered that if I scratch behind the knee, my ferrets stretch out their leg so I can scratch it better and air-lick or do other signs of pleasure LOL...
Try it, let me know if your ferrets do this too! It works on both my ferrets. It's funny to see their leg go all stiff when you scratch it LOL...

Hurley likes to be scratched on the back of his neck. He arches up and rubs his head against my hand to get a better scratch.

Mine have 'motorcycle spots' like dogs. You know, when dogs kick their foot when you scratch a certain way? Like they're starting a motorcycle? Well, A few of mine do that. Shiloh has a place on her side ifyou scratch lightly, she'll kick. So cute!

why is it my ferrets are such weirdos?!?!?!?!?! they don't smell like grape koolaid, they don't have magic scratch spots, they don't love on me or get all cuddly....my crew could careless...as long as they have food and water and they get their play times they're good

Rose, lay them on their backs and rub the back of their thighs. they put their legs straight into these awkward poses. We call it Sonny's "yoga."

no one stays still enough for me to rub their bellies or even have them lay on their backs willingly.... trying to get Sophie Ann on her back without a freak out...impossible! She'd probably tear the beegeesus out of my legs and what ever she could sink her teeth into. maybe some tone would convince one or two to lay still a second or two?

aside from my dead sleepers, mine aren't dopey when they wake up...it's almost as if there is a light switch in them and they go from sleeping to wide awake and ready to go in seconds! I obviously I get no reaction from my dead sleepers... oh well... no normal fuzz for me!
